Privacy policy
How biela handles the information shops and their customers trust us with.
Who we are
biela is operated by Biela Technologies, Inc., [address]. For privacy questions write to privacy@hellobiela.com.
What we store
Shop details (name, address, tax ID, logo, settings), team member accounts, customers (names, phone, email, address), vehicles (plate, VIN, mileage), estimates, work orders, invoices, expenses, payments and the attachments you upload.
Payments
Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. biela never sees or stores full card or bank account numbers; we keep the amount, date, method and Stripe reference.
Who processes the data
Hosting and database: Lovable Cloud. Payments: Stripe. Email delivery: the email provider connected to send shop messages (currently Google Gmail). These providers only process data to run the service.
Customer links
Links sent to customers show only that one document or vehicle status, use unguessable codes, and the shop can turn them off at any time.
We do not sell data
We never sell or rent your data or your customers’ data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the shop account is active. The shop owner can delete the shop and all its data in Settings → Danger zone. Backups are overwritten within 30 days. Payment records kept by Stripe follow Stripe’s own legal retention.

Customers who want to see, correct or delete their information should contact the shop that serves them, or write to privacy@hellobiela.com.
